Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Your legal first and last name, a unique Display Name, and date of birth, collected at signup.
• A WebAuthn passkey credential (a public key — we never see or store a password or biometric data itself).
• Your device's GPS location, used to place you on the map for the Global Lock (local content filtering). We store your precise coordinates privately and only ever show other people a coarse, human-readable location label (e.g. "Raleigh, NC"), never your exact position.
• Anything you choose to post: text, photos, videos, your bio, profile song choice, shares/reposts of other people's posts, and Dealership listings and messages.
• A record of notifications caused by your activity (likes, comments, follows, shares, and messages), so the person on the receiving end can see who did what and when. Only the recipient can see their own notifications.
• For a guardian-created minor account (ages 13-17): the guardian's own photo ID, held only until it is reviewed, then permanently deleted. The minor never uploads an ID.

Advertising

The Media (photo/video) feed reserves a slot for an ad every 6 posts. As of this writing that slot is a static placeholder — no advertising network is connected yet and no data is shared with one. This section will be updated with the specifics (which network, what it can see) before any real ad unit goes live.

How we use it

To run the product: show you and others local content within your selected radius, let people find and follow each other, enable messaging, and operate the Dealership marketplace. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Who can see what

• Your Display Name, legal name, posts, and follower/following lists are public.
• Your precise location is never shown to anyone — only the coarse label, and only to the extent you choose to show one.
• Accounts under 16 are hidden from adult Discover; accounts under 18 cannot be messaged by adults other than their own guardian(s).
• A guardian's ID image is visible only to the site administrator reviewing it, and only until that review is complete.

Your choices

You can narrow your discovery radius, change your profile at any time, and request account deletion by contacting the site administrator. A minor who blocks their guardian will have their account deleted automatically.
